Orthentix is a music producer, artivist, academic author and blogger, residing in the hinterland of Byron Bay, Australia. When she isn’t busy in the studio or on stage, she is working as a live sound engineer, event manager, or workshop facilitator and presenter. She has been producing music since completing a Bachelor in Audio Production and a Diploma in Electronic Music Production at SAE Byron Bay in 2015 and is currently studying a Masters in Creative Industries, also at the SAE Institute.
Music has always played a big part in her life. From early childhood, she played 70’s rock licks on guitar before starting music lessons with a church organist. Once at primary school, she played flute in the orchestra and learned music theory. By high school with rebellion the focus, she played electric guitar, mainly Punk and Grunge but listened to a lot of Hip-Hop, Rap, and Trip-Hop.
